Brief History
The department of Ophthalmology at GMC Badaun is well equipped with higher end operating microscope , Phaco Machine and other diagnostic facilities. large number of cataract ,Pterygium /PCR surgeries have been done in the department since its commencement at GMC Badaun ophthalmology department is the only center for squint surgery and ocular tumor excision and other occular services in this region . Patients are discharged after few hour of surgery .
Activities:
Ophthalmology department of GMC Badaun is regularly arranging awareness and screening camps for blinds patients due to cataract , glaucoma corneal diseases , childhood blindness diabetic retinopathy awareness camps , Nukkad Natak has also been performed to promote eye donation.
