Brief History
Department of psychiatry is running efficiently since establishment of this esteemed medical college. Currently department is operating O.P.D. all six working days with faculty of three members [Dr. Narveer Yadav as assistant professor and head of the department, Dr. shri Krishna Yadav as senior resident and Dr. Devendra Kumar as junior resident] Currently we are running O.P.D of 70-80 patients daily and I.P.D of 8-10 patients.
Activities:
Recently under guidance of respected principal sir we also started providing facility of E.E.G (electro encephalogram) every tuesday and thursday, and specialized O.P.D. for Deaddiction every tuesday. In future we are also planning to start facility of E.C.T. (electro convulsive therapy) for needy peoples, and more specialized O.P.D. like Child Psychiatry, Geriatric O.P.D., and Psychosexual O.P.D.
