The MBBS is a 5.5 year (4.5 years academic education + 1 year mandatory internship) UG degree programme leading to the two degrees as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. ... ELIGIBILITY

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognised board and age minimum 17 year plus.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET exam once a year. NEET-UG is the single national level entrance test conducted for MBBS admission in India, as recognized by the Supreme Court of India. Admission to 1,899 MBBS seats in AIIMS institutions and 249 seats in JIPMER is also granted through the NEET exam.
